As a single mother of two, Mystery balances motherhood and entrepreneurship with purpose and tenacity. Her work has earned widespread recognition, including Twenty in Their 20’s (2021), the Platinum Jubilee Award (2023), Food Systems Champion of London & Middlesex (2024), and the Leading Women, Leading Girls Award (2024). She will also be featured in Museum London’s 2025 exhibit, Fashion, Grits, Glamour & Guts.
In addition to running her business, Mystery is the founder of Type Diabeat It, a charity supporting racialized and low-income communities affected by type 2 diabetes. The organization is home to London’s first Black-led community garden and leads culturally responsive food literacy and wellness programs.
Through Granny P’s and Type Diabeat It, Mystery is redefining wellness for her community—proving that even small seeds can grow into something powerful when rooted in culture, resilience, and care.
